PRIVACY POLICY

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the types of information that C.I may collect online when you visit the Site, how we might use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and informs you of the actions you can take regarding our use of and your ability to correct that information. Our Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, how we use cookies and further information about cookies.

PROCESSOR AGREEMENT

 

This document sets out the Privacy and Cookies Policies (the “Policy”) of Contract Intelligence B.V, a Company incorporated and existing in the Netherlands applying when You (“You”) provide to C.I any personal data of identified or identifiable individuals (“Data”).

 

You must read this Policy carefully. If You have any reservations, doubts, objections to this Policy You should exit from the Website and refrain from uploading any Data into the Website.

 

C.I reserves the right to change this Policy at any time without prior notice. Any amended Policy will be integrated herein from time to time. Completion of the registration process (the “Registration Process”) with C.I. Continued use of Your credentials to login and use the Website implies that You are aware of this Policy, that You acknowledge and accept this Policy as amended and in force from time to time.

What Data and how is Your Data collected?

You may visit the Website anonymously at all times provided however that the Website uses Cookies.

All services provided by C.I are reserved to professional (not consumer) use only (“Professional”). To the extent that a Professional is an individual or legal representative of a Corporate Professional this Policy shall apply to any Data submitted or disclosed to C.I as part of the Registration Process or otherwise, including name, email address, phone, professional qualification or details required for C.I to provide the services.

Registration and enrolling of You as a Professional is strictly processed offline through the C.I backend. The Website does not process any automatic registration service.

C.I WILL ONLY COLLECT DATA THAT IS VOLUNTARILY DISCLOSED AND SUBMITTED BY YOU AND THAT YOU AUTHORISE C.I TO COLLECT, STORE, PROCESS AND/OR MANAGE ACCORDING TO THIS POLICY. YOU MAY REFUSE TO GRANT ANY AUTHORISATION FOR DATA COLLECTION, STORAGE, PROCESSING AND/OR MANAGEMENT AND YOU MAY WITHDRAW ANY PREVIOUS GRANTED CONSENT AT ANY TIME.

C.I may also collect, store, process and manage corporate details (of You not as an individual) in respect and in connection with your business relationship with C.I (“Corporate Data”).

As a Corporate Professional registering with C.I You expressly grant to C.I a royalty free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, perpetual, worldwide license for C.I to access, collect, store, process, maintain, analyze and manage Your Corporate Data for the intended business purposes of C.I including those relating to Your activity, any feedback from end customers, Your premises, services or products offered, prices, promotions and geo location.

 

As You enroll with C.I as a Professional C.I may contingently access, process and manage Your Data for the purposes of providing You certain C.I Services or further interacting with You according to what may seem to be of Your interest.

 

What about cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that C.I may transfer to Your computer’s hard drive through Your Web browser to enable C.I’ systems to recognize Your browser and tell C.I how and when the Website is visited and by how many people also permitting to enhance Your user experience (UX) (the “Cookies”). Cookies may keep track of Your movements within the Website, help You navigate or advise navigation, remember Your navigation history, theme selection, preferences and other customization functions (if/as available).

The Website uses the following Cookies:

  • pll_language: cookies to determine language preferences of User;

Anonymous Information. How does it work?

C.I may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identified information regarding visitors and users of the Website for the purposes outlined above.

 

Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, device name, type of computer and technical information about users, means of connection to the Website, such as the OS and/or the ISP utilized by user or other similar non-personal technical information. When C.I shares such information it shares it in a distinctive database so that information remains anonymous at all material times and cannot be reverted to be understood and processed as Data.

 

What does C.I collect Your Data for?

C.I may collect, store, process and manage Your Data for the following purposes:

  • To enable C.I and its partners and subcontractors in the operation and maintenance of the Website and to support C.I in providing and further improve the providing of its services to You;

 

  • To alert you on product or services updates, technical bulletins, news, highlights, special offers that may be of interest to You;

 

  • To help You find services or products better suited to Your corporate needs;

 

  • To make the Website more relevant and easier to navigate by You and/or to help You solve any navigation problems You may find whilst using the Website;

 

  • To send periodic emails If You decide to register and/or join C.I’s newsletters or mailing lists (if/as available).

How does C.I protect Your Data?

C.I shall collect, store, process and manage Your Data only in accordance to this Policy and the Data Privacy Laws in force – as amended from time to time- within the European Union.

 

C.I adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures intended to protect Your Data against accidental loss, destruction, or alteration; unauthorized disclosure or access; or unlawful destruction. Sensitive data exchange between the Website and You is most unlikely to occur. However when/if such becomes the case C.I shall use SSL secured communication channel with encryption and protected digital signatures.

 

NOTWITHSTANDING THE LATTER PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT C.I CANNOT ENSURE FULL NETWORK SECURITY OVER THE WEB AND USE OF THE WEBSITE MAY EXPOSE YOU AND YOUR DATA TO RISKS SUCH AS IDENTITY THEFT, FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT ACTION BY THIRD PARTIES OUT OF C.I’S CONTROL THAT MAY CAUSE YOU IRREPARABLE LOSS AND/OR DAMAGE OF UNQUANTIFIABLE IMPACT.

YOUR DISCRETION ON THE USE OF THE INTERNET, THE WEBSITE AND THE DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA ALONG WITH ANY CONSENTS IN RESPECT THEREOF ARE STRONGLY ADVISED.

You are also responsible for the secure handling of Your user details used to use the Website which you acknowledge C.I has no control over.

 

To whom may C.I disclose Your Data?

C.I is not in the business of selling, trading, or renting Data and therefore exchange or sharing of Data with third parties is strictly limited and is only made in accordance to the applicable laws subject however to the following:

  • I may share Administrator data for purposes of Website security and/or fraud prevention.

 

 

  • I may use third party service providers to help in the operation of C.I’s business, the operation of the Website and/or to administer activities on C.I’s behalf. Any sharing of Your Data with such third parties shall be only as needed to pursue such limited purposes and provide You C.I’s services and subject to the consents by You that may be imposed by Law (if any).

 

  • I shall not disclose Your data outside C.I’s controlled subsidiaries and affiliates (if any) and the C.I’ partners network used by C.I for the above cited purposes except (1) if You otherwise permit or direct, (3) as required by law; or (3) imposed by judicial or administrative subpoena or order.

Should any authorities or law enforcement agent contact C.I with a demand for Your Data except as may be prohibited by Law (1) C.I will promptly notify You and provide You with a copy of the demand/order; (2) C.I will attempt to redirect authorities to You – by providing them with Your basic contacts information- so that they may obtain information directly from You; (3) C.I will reasonably effort not to provide information in excess of that required to satisfy the compelled disclosure order.

 

Who processes Your Data?

C.I may use sub-processors to process Your Data. We have concluded with these Parties processor agreements to ensure that they handle Your Data carefully and securely at all times. The Third Parties will take care of the storage and security of Your Data and are Processors in terms of the Relevant Legislation.

 

Where does C.I process Your Data?

We will transfer Your data inside and outside the European Union. Outside the European Union we only process Your Data if that country offers an appropriate level of protection for Your Data, such as the EU/US Privacy Shield.

 

What are Your rights?

You are entitled to access, rectify or request deletion of Your Data at any time and to such effect You should contact the Data Processor to the contacts and address identified in the content above. C.I will reasonably assist You on the exercise of Your rights.       

 

What Laws and Jurisdiction?

Your Data will be collected, stored, processed and managed by the Data Processor according to this Policy and the European Union Laws on Data Privacy as amended and in force from time to time to the extent applicable to Your Data. No further laws shall apply to Your information and/or data.

 

Any disputes on Data Privacy or Your Information shall be resolved by the Civil Courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
